In a crossing there should be two bells and usually they are placed on the right hand signal each side of the track when facing towards the track. With modern signals that is the 3 aspect signal while to two aspect signal standing on the left does not have a bell. Also these 1 aspect signals are mostly found on single track lines. For scripts they will use exactly the same scripts as the other crossing signals, no problems there (I hope). /Anders |
